When reality walks through the door … V.

… and you hope you once become happy with it…

Six weeks. Forty two very long days and nights have passed since someone walked out the door with your heart in his hands, and with your soul in his pockets… Since you have been thrown in front of the bus…

The new chapter has opened. That is a fact. However, you have to admit that you still sleep on the other side of the bed, eat the same breakfast, the same salad, and drink the tea that you do not really like … You talk to yourself when you feel like sharing what pops into your mind and save articles that you may discuss once… You follow routines that once were yours, and you do not always recognize it…

After two hundred kilometres of jogging and eight kilograms lighter, without sugar, alcohol and coffee, you really feel different. You feel fearless and invincible. Your confidence seems to be back. People talk to you on the street, kids are smiling at you when you pass by, and you have jogging acquaintances. You see other people pursuing their own goals. What they really want. And it gives you the hope that determined, devoted and persistent people do exist.

But it is far not the happy end. Although you have become creative, focused and – for some strange reason – everything turns gold in your hands when it comes to your profession, your fears are still following you. Your mind is still wandering around things which are no longer your business. Your emotions are still challenging you from time to time, and are battling with your thoughts… You become hopeful one day and give up the next. You dream about a much nicer future one night and you wake up from a nightmare the other…

It is how it is. You must find your peace in it. To go ahead and not to stop. No matter what. You stick to your plans and your new dreams. You are about to believe in them. They will be reality one day. Life is a journey, and you had better enjoy it. And you are now sure that you soon will…
